L. John K. VanHorn, DDS
A native of Sparks, Nevada, Dr. VanHorn graduated from Reed High School, and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Biology, with distinction, and pursued a Master’s degree in Biochemistry at the University of Nevada, Reno. He attended and graduated from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2006. He then returned to the community he calls home to provide remarkable dental care for Northern Nevada residents and their families.
His strong passion for dentistry is driven by a love of helping educate patients to fulfill each patient’s individual needs and expectations. Dr. VanHorn thrives on the rapid environment of the practice and being an integral part of patient improvements, while consistently taking time with them to make sure their needs are properly met.

In his free time, Dr. VanHorn enjoys spending time with his wife Michelle and their four children enjoying the picturesque surroundings of the Sierra Mountains.
Kenneth D. Vaughn, DDS
Born and raised in Northern Nevada, Dr. Vaughn graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree. A fellow graduate of the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1989, going on to earn multiple Dental Honor Society Awards.

When outside of the office, he loves spending time with his wife Andrea and their five children. An avid outdoorsman, he looks forward to passing along that enthusiasm to his grandchildren, and enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and golf in his free time.
Katie Flynn, DMD
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Dr. Flynn graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She returned to her home town and graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine where she earned her doctorate. After school, Dr. Flynn decided to return to Northern Nevada to provide exceptional dental care to the community she loves most. Dr. Flynn frequently attends continued education classes in order to ensure her patients receive the highest standard of care. These classes include several dental specialists in the Reno and Sparks area that cohesively give their input to make sure their knowledge is up to date. During her free time, Dr. Flynn enjoys spending time outdoors with her boyfriend, his daughter, and their dog, Izzy. They look forward to adding another furry friend to join their family soon.
